Colleen MacCarthy, co-founder of Grappler, a New Zealand insurtech start-up, is expanding the highly successful enterprise overseas at pace.
Colleen MacCarthy, co-founder of New Zealand insurtech, Grappler, loves the look on people’s faces when they see the company’s solution in action and realise how transformational it will be for their business.
Grappler, which automates the payment reconciliation process and provides day to day financial visibility, was started ten years ago as an external project contracted by a large insurer in New Zealand.
“From the outset, our goal was to reinvent the back office administrative process of the insurance sector,” MacCarthy says. “We have continued to grow and enhance our offering, delivering more capability in this area.”
Today, Grappler’s software provides greater visibility for all areas of its customers’ businesses, including finance, underwriting, claims and operations.
