Attracting young people to the insurance industry has always been a challenge. Along with the negative press the industry regularly receives, most school leavers demonstrate a lack of understanding about the myriad of opportunities that exist within a complex and highly varied profession. But things are starting to change.

We’re all familiar with the narrative about how people ‘fall into the insurance industry’ rather than choosing it as a career. 

Despite some movement over the last few years, insurance is still rarely on the agenda of young people graduating from university. 

Finding good talent often proves a struggle for insurers and devoting the necessary time and effort to get this right can be a significant challenge.
